Remove strut assembly
Remove springs
Install Skunk2 springs
Reassemble

Easy.

yeah it took me like 5-6 hours to do my 4 door. I broke 3 rachets and a socket. If you can get air tools or already have them I would sujest that. Watch out for the lower bolt in the rear some times it's welded.

Just make sure you use a spring compressor taking off the springs...unless you feel like busting some teeth out (and i know how it feels right eric?). Basically everything calesta said. Easy as pie.

Nah, I don't use a spring compressor... the ones you can rent really suck. Just lay one of the wheels down, lay the shock/spring assembly down, point the bottom end against the tire and brace the top against something else, then zap off the top nut with an impact wrench. It's not the safest way to do it, but it's fast and all your parts stay in the same general area.

if you're going to replace the struts eventually i reccomend doing it at the same time. it'll make the install sooooo much easier b/c you won't even have to take the shock assembly apart. you just take it off, which is just like a few bolts, then replace it w/ the other strut and spring. i wish i would have done that...

but if you're not going to get new struts, then i would definitely reccomend air tools b/c the bolt on top that holds the spring in is a total bitch to get off. and yes you definitely should get a friend to help you out.

all i gotta say is if you have a hard time getting the bolt that connects the bottom of your strut to the lower controler arm looks like this:

| |
[ |==|]==

HEAT THE SIDE THAT HAS THE TACK WELDED NUT ON IT (usually the side facing the middle of the car) heat that bitch it will losen the grip and get the bolt out (if you dont have air tools) i had all the stuff replaced and done in 1 hour then it took me 13 (yes thirteen) more hours to get the one i broke off (will be forever known as "the bitch bolt") take my advice 10 gauge cast bolts break easier than you think lol

Or with the rear lower trailing arms or control arms it is only two more bolts and the whole assembly wil come out still attatched to the strut. Then very carefully remove the bolt holding it to the arm and press out the bushing and replace them with the energy suspension polyurethane ones. they are a great improvement and cheap for just those two. You can heat the nut that is welded to the strut assembly if it fights you but be careful not to hit the bushing with the torch or you will have to replace the bushings cause they melt easy.
