Wheels and lugnuts are what keep rotors secure.. those screws aren't really needed.

BUT hell if new ones come in the box use them.

well i like to keep mine in for safe keeping, but if you have a wizz wheel or something that can cut a straight line in the screw use it and cut two straight lines so they look like an X and then wham use a phillips impact screw driver to get it out. problem sloved.
yea we tried that. this fucking thing didnt want to budge. i even tried heating it up and doing that shit and i still couldnt get it out. i couldnt help out tonite so i dunno how it went but shit we were up till like 4 last nite trying to get it out. we used the impact driver and it had a shitty bit so that stripped it. then i made pounded new grooves into the head of the screw and tried it again. what do ya kno it stripped again. in the end we wound up with a round circle in the middle of the screw head. wat a bitch. the retard at sts that put the tires back on his car fucking put em on so tight the wheels didnt want to come off after we took the lugs off. lol. thats y you dont go to sts!!! haha.

when i did my rear disc swap i didn't put the screw back because it got so stripped i couldn't even put a new one in and it has been 3000 miles so far and no probelms, but like my dad's car he has no screw at all on his rotors on both his cars they didn't come with one so i am guessing it is safe like that if from stock there is no screw on it!
