my car is only lowered about maybe .5". I did this for a number of reasons, 1 you dont need a camber kit! 2, If you lower the car just enough so that the axles are straight, or straighter than they were, you decrease your chance of blowing an axles because of load on the cv portion of the axle. 3, you dont bottom out on everything. This is the way we set up all our cars, Omni-power coil over suspension with a minimum drop. and to decrease the amount of air traveling under the car, we add a front lip. Now, thats not really for auto cross...but for drag racing thats a pretty good set up.

Can a bad camber angle cause wheel hop? On my old eclipse, it was lowered 1.5 all around (w/ no camber) and there was no uneven tire wear, but it hopped like crazy after I lowered it.

camber kit.... its a good investment, when u think about the money u will be spending on a new set of tires in a while because of uneven treadware....

yeah it can, mostly because of bumps but also loss of traction can cause it.. from just even taking a turn to hard. That you have to watch out for, It can really catch you off guard. I had a wheel allignment done and since then It corrected my 1 wheel that was off in thre front and now looks ok.

I think I hit a pothole too hard and knocked off my camber, my toe was pretty fucked too. Sometimes an allignment is all you need.
