Whats up all.. just got my new coilovers today.. can't wait to put 'em on hopefully this weekend. I ended up getting Omni Power instead of Tein.. I went with the cheaper ones.. figured I didn't really need them 16 way adjustable.. I also have a skunk2 front camber kit that will be going on..

So my question is will a Honda dealership be able to do a normal alignment, toe and camber adjustments? Or would it be best to find a good aftermarket shop for this?

i'd talk to a local 'tuner' shop and ask who they recommend. when i lowered my civic intercrew suggested using a specific person at a specific shop.

yeah cause the honda dealer might not be able to do it because of the lowerd stance of your veh..i was told that at my dealer....they said cause it was so low and the camber was so off they could not get a reading...

depends on what kinda alignment rack they use. take it to a shop that has an inground alignment rack so they have no issues of the possibility of ripping off your front bumper.

Right on, for sure i'll let you know.. maybe I'll even take pics of my install.. I was looking to do it this weekend but only one of the coilovers came with the nuts for the pillow mounts, so I'm short 6.. I'll have to give the shop a call tomorrow.. so I guess I'll be waiting until next weekend..

I have Omnipower coilovers on my del Sol and absolutely love them. I have the stiffer setup and it's not as stiff as the neuspeeds I had. very few people have driven my car, but those who have, like how it rides.

You need to get the full camber kit (front and rear); when you drop your car all around, youre going to get more negative camber in the rear. I just installed my Tokico Illumina R's yesterday and dropped the car a little less than 3 inches; did my alignment in shop today (with the laser method) and my camber is fucked in the back (-3.5+!!!)... The front wasnt all that bad though. I think you have an EM1 too and Im not too sure about other civics, but our cars have no adjustment for camber or caster, only toe, so there wasnt much I could do to fix everything at this juncture in time. I think Im going to adjust the ride height so it sits considerably higher until I get a kit to fix that shit so that I dont eat my tires up in the meantime. Just my 2?.

Oh and by the way, the coilover install is fucking cake; I did it in about 2 hours and I have very minimal hands-on experience in the mechanic world.
