Just wondering what everyone thought of lower arms, arm bars and sway bars.. would they really make that much of a difference in the feel of your suspension? I'...

Just wondering what everyone thought of lower arms, arm bars and sway bars.. would they really make that much of a difference in the feel of your suspension? I'm thinking maybe sway bars might make a difference but thats about it.. what are eveyone elses thoughts? anyone have this stuff?

i run only after rsr coilovers and kyb shocks and an lsd on my car ...no sway bars...no strut bars...no aftermarket control arms...and my car tracks dead straight...then again thats fine for a drag car...i also wouldnt try and take my car on a road course lol

I hear the sway bar kit makes a world of difference.. As far as lower LCA's I have them and dont feel a difference..?? My lower tie bar, X brace in the trunk, along with the C pillar bar help though. Plus my car is dropped like 2.25

If you want handling.. a good set of tires and a sway bar with the re-inforcement plate would do you perfect.. Of course as long as your lowered.

im here everyone bow down! well man to be quite honest, LCA's arent gonna make your suspension feel better, they actually are used to you can run a wider wheel in the rear without rubbing the lower control arm. sway bars are gonna be on the first priortiy, cause they reduce body roll, and they make the world of a difference, like night and day. Since you have an SI you already have a front sway bar it doesnt need to be upgraded you should be fine with the one there, my sugestion would look on aspec racings website www.a-spec-racing.com and look to see what you would like they have options for your car from 21,22, and 32mm sway bars.

After sway bars, i would highly reccomend a full bushing kit and strut bars

Awesome, thanks for the link.. those kits look waaay better than any others that I've seen.. I think one will be next on the list since I already have strut bars coming on wednesday..

I was reading the descriptions and noticed this for the 32mm sway bar:

Please note that this reinforcement bar is custom-drilled for new subframe mounting locations, and will need to be uninstalled to mount a swaybar in the stock location.

Maybe you know the answer to my question.. why would you put a sway bar in the stock location when the kit comes with a 32mm bar?

And would you know any disadvantages/advantages this kit might have vs. the 22mm one? I noticed its a smaller bar and doesn't have the bends like the 22mm one.. would this make it stronger? It also looks shorter than the 22mm bar.. woulnd't it be better to cover a wider area over the width of the car? Also what are the advantages of teflon end-links over the OEM Honda ones?

no they mean if you wish to take off the 32mm and put on your OEM sway bar, it will need to be uninstalled. ok think of 1mm as a 10% difference in body roll/handling. so if your going from a 14mm sway bar to a 22 mm thats a 80% increase in handling, now from a 14mm to a 32 would be a 180% increase. There is no difference in the endlinks, its just that they have to use a bigger and custom endlink since this bar is 32mm around and no honda endlink can bolt up to it. I used OEM endlinks with my 23mm rear bar.

Ahh I got it.. alright thanks.. I was talking to a guy at a local shop I go to and he said the 32mm bar would kick the back end out on every corner.. so I'm thinking it might be a little overkill for what I need..
