I will be in the market for some good springs soon, and though I was leaning towards the Eibach Prokit, I've seen pictures w/ Neuspeed springs and the car sits very nice w/ 16"s. I believe the difference is only a few tenths of an inch, though. Does anyone have any suggestions or can tell me what they think of the Neuspeed springs? I was reading up on some of the other threads where one guy said he liked his (minus blow struts) and someone else said he rubs. Will I have a problem rubbing w/ these? And I know you're always supposed to have a camber kit, will one be necessary w/ this type of drop? And how low will the drop be, will I have much wheel gap?
Also, I know this is a newb question, whats the difference between shocks and struts? Which do you need to replace to have a more comfortable ride? |

I have H&R's (same as Neuspeed supposedly) sitting in my closet so I don't think I'll be much help, but talk to dubcac. He's got em too.

I got neuspeed "sport"? i think. appx 1.85 in the front and 1.5 in the back, but man it looks a lot lower. My front right tire rubs at any left turn due to the crappy CAI I got. The plastic fender wall has practically been rubbed away =(. The CAI pushes the wall out, making it even easier to rub. If you have a good CAI, or not one at all, it should be fine. Other than that, I am happy with the springs. I got them used for $99 shipped ^.^

So far, I see no signs of wear, and it's been a month. I think most of the bad camber is in the rear, which can be taken care of easily with a few washers or whatever. Since your rear tires do nothing but roll, it doesn't wear the tire much. It actually benefits you on cornering to have a little bad camber in the rear. While the tire would have been just running on the outer edge of the tire, it would now have full contact with the road.
