I was just talking about the rubber boot failing (cracking, tearing, falling apart).

I cant wait to get everything i need and get it on... only problem is that my dad is afraid that everything in the world will go wrong with how its all compressed and it will fly off and kill someone... Hes getting closer to giving in though. I plan on getting Neuspeed Sports Springs on good ol' Tokico HPs, does anybody have the springs?

I know a lot of people that are happy with Neuspeed springs. Just make absolutely sure that you get new stiffer shocks with them because otherwise you'll have a bouncy ride!
If you're going to replace both the shocks and springs at the same time, tell your dad that there's no need to worry. You don't need to remove the springs from the shocks- just pull the shock/spring from the car in one piece, then set aside and install the aftermarket stuff. You won't even need a spring compressor. Removing springs from shocks is what's dangerous, and you won't be doing that at all. |
