and yes i want to atleast be able support a fat chick in my car (just incase for some weird reason) :P

HAHA!!

I like the way this guy thinks, fat chicks need love too

Scraping and rubbing issues also depend on where you live. Around here in NoVA all of our tax dollars go to maintaining roads so you'll see people around here with INSANE 4" drops and shit...its commonplace. If you live somewhere like Texas, or some parts of cali or NJ where the roads are pretty much a nightmare and or weather conditions are sub-par most of the year i'd recommend staying at or above 2.0" especially with 17's and low profile tires... you'd be amazed at how fast a low profile tire pops hitting a pothole compared to a normal 50 series tire.[/b]
yeah, I consider myself lucky. When I had my 17's and low profiles I felt like my teeth were gonna shatter in my mouth. Potholes were bad around here.. especially with all the construction going on in the city.. thank god for 15's.

tokico shocks n tein spring with the drop of 1.9 front/1.7 rear be great? and is that a good strut/spring combo too?
I would say Scrap the 17's,don't go any lower than what you stated.
17"s ride like ass,esp with a lowered car and bumps/potholes could end up owning you.
