ummm they shouldnt blow for at least 4-5 years and not even that if he doesnt drive it as much.

You can just install the Teins with the default settings from the box and come out better than a straight strut/spring combination. It's not hard to get the ride height right, and a stock setting with the springs all at the same preload and the shock length set correctly to get your ride height just right is still way better without corner balancing than most spring/shock combos.
