Ok so i bought the Tein S Tech. springs with Tokico shocks and an Omnipower Camber kit. I figured my 93 DX doesn't have sway bars so i'd put some on to finish the suspension. My question is which kit can i get because i don't have any sway bars at all?? The other thing i was wondering is will i have to worry about subframe tear-out with a rear swaybar ?? Any help would be great,

integra ones will bolt up if your lookin to get some on the cheap, gonna need the lower control arms and what not to get the mounting points.

Yeah, Integra ones will work with the correct LCA's. If you go bigger than that, IE Comptech, I'd get an ASR subframe brace to prevent tearout.

it had disc brakes all around and the fonts are bigger than the DX's too, i'm debating gettin all the brake hardware, but not sure the cost effectiveness. And what parts would i need exactly, the whole rear control arm plus ? caliper and rotor etc. ??
EDIT: I found out i would need whole rear trailing arm, plus brake lines, and E-brake cables etc. oh yeah, and proportioning valve, and master cylinder... for now it's not worth it to me because i plan to sell my car in a year or so |

UPDATE!!
Alright i was successful at Crazy Rays (junk yard) getting the front & rear control arms with front & rear sway bars. They look a little small but it's better than nothing and for only $80 i'm good to go!! It took me forever putting on the front bar ( had to drop exhaust, shift linkage, etc, and install new control arms) that i only got the front on. But i installed my new Tein S. Tech springs with Tokico shocks and Omnipower camber kit! I will finish the rears tommorow. JDK |
