I have a 2002 civic EX and and looking to lower my car at least 2".
I am going to be using the stock tires and want the fender to be flush with the tires. I went on the Neuspeed site and noticed the racesprings lower 2" and the sportlines lower 1.5". Anyone had any experience with these two? Also I was thinking about getting ground control suspension because it says that it can lower it more. Basically I just want my car lowered so there is not gap and I dont want to regret my purchase once I install it on my car because there is still a gap between the tire and fender. Also I really dont want to spend $1000 total including the camber kits. Any suggestions? |

I haven't had any experience with those personally, but I have tein s-techs on my ride which are rated at 1.7" rear and 1.9" front, and I still have about an inch or 3/4 inch gap b/w the fender and the tire. If you really want it to be flush, get some good coilovers that you can adjust. And how much total do you want to spend? With springs that drop your car that much, you'll need shocks that can handle it, and camber correction. My springs/shocks alone were almost 400. Suspension is something you want to do right the first time, but once again it's all up to you. I think the race springs will drop it enough, just make sure you get some good shocks to go with them as well.
