Question Help - How to remove Front Hub?

Could anyone please clarify how the front wheel hub is removed to replace the bearing and the 4 wheel-studs on an Automatic 2002 Civic LX Coupe? It seems that the hub is pressed fit through the Bearings, but this set up does not make sense to me, mainly because I do not see how it is positively kept in place when the entire weight of the car is placed on this area. I have removed the overall assembly which houses the bearing and the hub, and the drive axle does not seem to provide any retention of the wheel hub.

Thank you,
Infante
