For a B16 engine, I'm currently doing an Obd2 - Obd1 conversion. So I have 2 questions.
1. I see people do a P28 swap, and a P72 swap. What are the benefits of each? 2. I know people sell the harness jumper cheap, I've had offers for like $75 even. But do I get the OBD1 plugs to make my own? Would I just cut off an older harness and splice it to the new one according to the pinout diagram? |

P28 needs chipped for DOHC parameters. The p72 is expensive and the reason why is for a feature you don't need (IAB's). P30 would be the best one for you, but is hard to come by. Another option is the p61, but there isn't too many of those around either.
