I'm just posting this because i had a hell of a time setting my shit up so this will make it easier for anyone else.
So i bought a turbo timer for the car and sence honda never made a boosted car stock you can't buy a harness for them. Ths wiring was pretty easy for the O2, Power, ground and E-brake safty. But then there was two wires left. The instructions say to hook them up to IG1 and IG2. Looking in my helms i noticed honda doesn't have anything coded as IG1 and IG2, honda listeds IGP1 and IGP2 at the ECU. DO NOT USE the IGP1 and 2 spots on the ECU. they won't work and will shut your car off while driving for no reason. So if you look at the fuse box under the dash on the driverside you will see a brown plug its pluged into the fuse box near the top and has 3 wires pinned into it. The wires are: Black w/ White Yellow Black w/ Yellow. The yellow wire is the IG2a hook up. use this as IG2 signal for the timer. The Black w/ Yellow is IG1. Use this as the IG1 signal for the timer. Everything should work fine. ONE THING TO REMEMBER, THE VOLTAGE IN YOUR INGNITION IS AMPLIFED MAKE USRE YOU UNHOOK YOUR BATTER WHEN DOEING THE WIRING IT'S NOT A PLESENT SHOCK. TRUST ME |
