ok the wiring is fixed and the new code that came up is P0420(catalyst below threshold). why in the hell is this coming up? the catalytic convertor is fine. this racer chick i know up at autozone(only person ive ever seen at autozone that knows what the fuck they are talkin bout) said that she gets that code every now and then. she said she just pulls out both o2 sensors and cleans them with gas and break cleaner and its fine for a while. shes got a h22a prelude if thats any help. but hey no o2 sensor wiring problems, yay! im still confused about the a/c compressor goin haywire though, any clues?

I just got that same code on my 98 ex, d16y8, the po420, and I can't find anything wrong with it. I checked both o2 sensors too, but mine doesn't run real rich or anything. Don't know why the a/c compressor would be acting up, though.

that code is because your secondary o2 sensor is telling your computer that your cat is no good...

If your second O2 sensor is not getting a reading at all I would check the wiring first. Cleaning it wouldn't hurt but a dirty sensor is more likely to cause a bad reading than no reading at all.
