well its good that u know that its not your wiring anymore. now it seems that its time to get a new o2, just get a bosch one from your local auto store. as for ur a/c compressor, my dad just helped one of his buddies out with the problem a couple of weeks ago. he has the same motor and prolly the same car as you too. they tighten a screw i beleive it was on the bottom of the compressor. the screw comes slightly loose over time and causes the clutch in the compressor to not be able to engage all the way and it just kicks back over and over and over again. im going down to his house monday and tuesday so when im down there ill be sure to ask and get all the details

i was just reading another post in the general tech forum and thought of a question to ask in here. ok the code thrown was P0420, it said catalyst efficiency below threshold bank #1, does bank #1 mean the first o2 sensor and bank #2 the second one? or are they the same code?

Soildering the connections should help. If you are getting a code for the heater circuit, I would check the resistance in that circuit. The computer must see 14 Ohms or it will throw a code.

The A/C compressor issue could be from a low idle, does the car idle too low? when it starts acting up and if your idle is low give it some gas and bring the RPMs up to about 700-800 and if it stops the cycling then your idle might be too low.

my .02
good luck man
