It's cost me $300 to get the ecu, conversion harness and to pay a local guy to chip it. I dont know if i'll play around with the program yet, well see.

Yeah, I had a guy offer me a chipped p28, a obd2a-obd1 conversion harness, datalog cable and a burner for 325... sounded like a good deal (and with a basemap already on it)

I paid about $800 total with the tune i have now for Hondata. I paid about $500ish for everything for s200wboost and i think every penny was worth it. Its a way better tune than the afc hack i had, and the vafc, missing link, and fmu setup i had.

Why does everyone forget about zdyne?I know it is obd0 but that is what I'm going with the zdyne gold.595 dollars you can program it,use bigger injectors ,spark retard, have a clutch stall, change vtec, and control you boost and nitrous.Thats pretty good for $595.

i'm curious about upgading my computer now. i had been cosidering going with the hondata k-pro because it is made for my engine, but alot of people are starting to tell me that uberdata is cheaper and easier to use. what will i need to get uberdata to work with the k20a3? where can i get it and how much? also, what is chrom and where can i get more info on that setup? a local tuning place here in indy sells and tunes both hondata and uberdata, so i do have someplace to do the dyno tuning.

i don't know if you can run a k motor in OBD1, but you should be able to.
If you want ot looking into Uber/chrome check out

Chris is a really cool guy and doesn't bull shit. Cost me like $500 for my set up with romemulator/wideband o2/socketed ECU with datalogging ect.

no you can not run a k series on obd1 ecu...thats why hondata can charge 900+ for k pro and people will pay it.

On another note...With all the ecu work and tuning into my car, i probably have about 5 or 6 grand into tuning and everything...Thats if i was to pay for my tuning...
