A p30 would make more sense for me wouldn't it? I want to chip an ECU for my eventual boost plans.
OBDI DOHC VTEC ECU as opposed to running a chipped P28, right? Or can you chip a P30? It just occured to me tonight, I never really researched P30s until a few minutes ago. |

ECUs don't care how many camshafts are in the car. i'm no tuning expert, but i think p28s are preferred because they're cheaper and easier to work with.

IT doesn't matter what ECU you go with, you can even pick up a p06, Once it's socketed the programing will take care of the vtec ect, ect. If you looking into a full tuning system check out Xenocron.com. Chris is a great guy and has some awsome shit, with A+ customer service.

actually p07's are cheaper but they are a little more expensive to chip because they need some more circuitry to become a p28 then chip it. Thats what I have.

Well I have it narrowed down. Finally found someone on HT with a virgin auto p28 for 75 and shipping.
What needs to be done to convert it to manual? |
