Whats up guys. Well the other day i was removing stuff from my trunk and i heard a weird noise sounded like something maybe shorted, weird static sound. Anyways so i noticed my radio wasnt producing any noise. It was on but nothing was coming out of the speakers. I checked the fuses and they seemed to be ok. I checked the clock and radio one and then the back up radio fuse under the hood. ( any others) I also then checked the speakers with hooking a battery to it or whatever to see if it makes noise and they were still good. Any ideas????? i took the turbo off so now i need the radio to make driving not so boring.

Did you make sure speaker wires getting power?
I can't remember what it called, but the screw driver looking device with a light bulb or buzzer with a cord running off it with a small clamp. Just place clamp where make decent contact to ground it and place sharp tip on wire touching wires. It should light/buzz if has current. Try checking right as comes out of head unit and at connection to speakers. That should tell ya if something in wiring or if shorted out speaker power wires. ![]()

unless it pulled a wire out or something out of amp it would still allow speakers to work.
Atleast when I blew an amp my subs still had some power. They sounded horrible but still had some music coming out. ![]()

this happend to me, well my rear speakers where not working, and i did not undertand it, so then i took them out and took them to a car audio shop and they told me the rear's where blown, even when they dont look blown they still could be. I would try some other speakers and see if they work.

is it a aftermarket headunit with stock spearks? if so the aftermarket headunit could have blown all of the speakers... just try putting in one brand new or good speaker and see if it works.
