Footbrake lamp wire colour

Hi,

I have just installed an Alpine CV 1004 monitor in my car (1998 Honda Civic vti-s). To get it to work though I have to join a wire to the footbrake lamp and one to a wire coming off the handbrake, for safety purposes.

Could anyone tell me where the footbrake lamp wire is exactly? I've heard its down above the brake pedal but I can only see a thick group of wires just about above the accelerator and I don't know which one the brake lamp one would be if it is there?
